Kaspersky Mobile Security
Scanner (Anti-Virus Premium)
Scanner (Anti-Virus Premium) allows you to detect and neutralize threats on your device by using the app's anti-virus databases and, additionally, the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service. Scanner (Anti-Virus Premium) includes the following components: protection (Premium), scan, update, and quarantine.
Protection detects threats in open files, scans new apps, and prevents device infection in real time.
Protection is available only for the commercial version of Kaspersky Mobile Security.
Scan runs on-demand scans of the entire file system, folders, or installed apps.
Full Scan scans the entire file system for threats, while Folder Scan scans a specific folder. Full Scan and Folder Scan detect threats in files that have been installed but not yet opened, as well as threats in files that are currently open. Quick Scan lets you scan only installed apps for threats.
Update lets you download new anti-virus databases that are used when scanning for malware, as well as new app versions.
The app moves files detected during scans of the device or during the operation of Protection to Quarantine (a dedicated isolated vault). The app stores quarantined files in packed form so they cannot harm the device.
Standard tasks:

Privacy Protection (Premium)
Privacy Protection allows you to hide confidential contacts, and all related call history and SMS correspondence.
Confidential contacts are saved in the Hidden contacts list.
The app can hide the following information for confidential contacts:
- Phone book entries;
- Read or forwarded SMS messages, and SMS drafts;
- Call history records;
- Incoming calls and notifications about new SMS messages.
When Privacy Protection is enabled, the app blocks the signal and notification on receipt of a new SMS message from a private number, and hides the message in the inbox. The app blocks incoming calls from private numbers and does not display incoming call information on the screen. As a result, the caller receives a busy signal. To view incoming calls and SMS messages for a period when Privacy Protection was enabled, Privacy Protection should be disabled. If you re-enable Privacy Protection, your confidential information is again hidden.
You can enable Privacy Protection from within the app, or remotely by sending an SMS command from another mobile device. You can send a standard SMS message with a special code or send an SMS message from Kaspersky Mobile Security if the app is installed on the other device.
You can allow or block the remote start of Privacy Protection on your device. If the remote start of Privacy Protection is blocked, the function cannot be launched remotely using an SMS command.
You can disable Privacy Protection only in the app installed on your device.

Web Protection (Premium)
With Web Protection and Text Anti-Phishing, you can visit trusted websites and use personal data on the network safely.
Web Protection blocks malicious websites that distribute malicious code and fake (phishing) websites that can steal your confidential data, such as online banking passwords, online auction and e-money passwords, and access your financial accounts.
Text Anti-Phishing blocks SMS links to malicious or phishing websites.
Web Protection checks websites before they are opened. Text Anti-Phishing also checks links in SMS messages before they are opened. Web Protection and Text Anti-Phishing perform checks using the Kaspersky Security Network cloud service (a dedicated Kaspersky Lab online service that contains information about the reliability of files, apps, and web resources).
Web Protection only checks websites in the standard Android browser and does not check them in other browsers.
When it is enabled, Web Protection automatically checks which is the default browser. If Web Protection does not support the current default browser, Web Protection prompts you to change it to the standard Android browser.
To ensure websites are continuously checked, it is recommended to set the standard Android browser as the default browser.
If you do not want to change the current default browser, in order to use personal data on the network safely, launch the standard Android browser.
